The Clinic was founded over 30 years ago to provide high quality physiotherapy treatment to local people. We have converted the Victorian village blacksmith’s building, and made it into a wheelchair accessible, single storey premises with free, level parking for 12 cars right outside the door. The conversion was done sympathetically and retains many original features such as the blacksmith’s hearth and chimney.
Inside there are three treatment rooms, a small shop and a patient’s toilet, plus a waiting area and office. The Clinic has five Chartered and HPC Registered Physiotherapists, a podiatrist, one homeopath and a Bowen practitioner.
In 2005 we built an annexe next door which provides two further treatment areas, and gym space for exercise. In 2014 we added a new treatment room to the main building.
The ethos of the clinic is to look at each patient individually and holistically. Careful examination and assessment at the first appointment is vital, so up to an hour is allowed for this.
Treatment does not end with the end of the session, we always advise on exercise, work station problems and ongoing fitness requirements. We aim to help you to help yourself
